Calculate The Temperature Of 40 Mol Of A Gas Occupying 5 dm3 At 3.32 Bar.

Open in App
Solution

Explanation for Correct answer:-

Given Data:

No. of moles = n = 40

Pressure = P = 3.32 bar

Volume = V = 5dm3

R = Gas Constant =0.0821literatmmol-1K-1

Applying Ideal Gas equation:

We know that,

PV = nRT

So, T=PVnR

Putting the values of P, n, R, and V, we get,

T = 3.32x54x0.0821K

T = 50K

Therefore, the temperature is 50K.
