Question

Calculate the total number of electrons present in 18 mL of water.

Open in App
Solution

water density is equal to 1
So 18 ml water= 18 gram water = one mole water
in one molecule of water there are 1o electrons are present
Thus in one mole water there are 6.023×1023 molecules of water are present
Thus number of electrons in one mole = 10×6.023×1023=6.023×1024 electrons
