Solution

The correct option is B 1.33

ν1=2 O2(γ1=1.4)
ν2=3 CO2(γ2=1.3)
Let us assume adiabatic exponent of O2 and CO2 are γ1 and γ2
Internal energy of system:
U=ν1Rγ11T+ν2Rγ21T=(ν1+ν2)RTr1

or, ν1γ11+ν2γ21=μ1+ν2r1

or, ν1(γ21)+ν2(γ11)(γ11)(γ21)=ν1+ν2(r1)

or, r=(γ11)(γ21)(ν1+ν2)ν1(γ21)+ν2(γ11)+1

or, r=ν1γ1(γ21)+ν2γ2(γ11)ν1(γ21)+ν2(γ11)=1.33=γ
