k=1.38×1023 J K1 ; h=6.6×1034 Js

The kinetic energy of a thermal neutron is,
KE=32 k T

p22m=32 kT

Thus, p=mv=3mkT

λ=hp=h3mkT

=6.6×10343×1.67×1027×1.38×1023×300

=6.6×10344.55×1024

λ=1.45×1010 m =1.45 ˚A
