Solution:- (A) 1.63×102J
Reaction given-
2H2O2(l)O2(g)+2H2O(l)
Given mass of H2O2=4.5g
Molecular mass of H2O2=34g
No. of moles of H2O2=4.534=0.132 mol
From the above reaction-
2 moles of H2O2 produces 1 mole of O2, thus 0.132 mole of H2O2 will produce 0.066 mole of O2.
Δng=nPnR=(0.066+0)0=0.066 mol
Change in volume =ΔV=Δng×22.4=0.066×22.4=1.48
Pressure =1atm(Given)
As we know that,
Work done (W)=PΔV=(1×1.48)=
W=1.48Latm=1.49×102J1.63×102J
