Camel can walk easily on Sand in desert than a man although the weight of the camel is much more than that of the man. Comment.

  1. Pressure is the force acting per unit area.
  2. pressure=forcearea
  3. Its unit is pascal(Pa).
  4. When area increases, pressure decreases.
  5. Camel's leg is broader and the pressure exerted will be less on the sand.
  6. Man's leg is narrow and hence the pressure exerted will be more.
  7. Since the pressure exerted by the camel is less it won't sink in the sand.
  8. So a camel can walk easily on the sand in the desert than a man although the weight of the camel is much more than that of the man.
