Solution

Step 1: Explanation

  1. A body can be at rest as well as in motion at the same time.
  2. Rest and motion are relative terms.
  3. Rest and motion completely depend on the frame of reference of the observer.
  4. One object is at rest with respect to one object but can be in motion with respect to another object

Step 2: Example

Consider one boy sitting in a moving bus.

This boy is at rest with respect to another person sitting on the bus.

But, at the same time for another person who is standing on the rod side, that boy is in motion.

Hence, a body that is at rest can be in motion at the same time.
