A perpendicular bisector of a triangle is a line perpendicular to the side and passes through the midpoint of the side, i.e. it bisects the side.
A median is defined as a line segment from a vertex of a triangle to the midpoint of the side opposite to that vertex.
So, if the median joins the opposite side at 90o, it will be the perpendicular bisector of that side.
This is a special case for an equilateral triangle.
The medians and perpendicular bisectors are same in equilateral triangle.
