Can a rectangle be a rhombus?
A rectangle is a parallelogram with all its interior angles being 90 degrees and opposite sides equal in length.
A rhombus is a parallelogram with all its sides equal. A rectangle is therefore not a rhombus.
Give reasons for the following:

(b) A rectangle can be thought of as a special parallelogram.
(c) A square can be thought of as a special rhombus.
(d) Squares, rectangles, parallelograms are all quadrilaterals.
