Question

Can an acidic salt and basic salt react further to form salt and water

Open in App
Solution

Look , salts are generally neutral but sometimes they can be acidic or basic .
When these acidic and basic salts react, technically we are getting another set of salt and water. But the problem is that the reaction wont be as easy as you think.
Since they are very weak acid and base, their extent of reaction will be very small.
Or to be precise, there is little chance that they react.
Hope it clears.
Good luck
