Can an electromagnetic wave exert force on a proton or an electron ? I think it should. It is because light has both electric and magnetic components . What is your opinion?

Electromagnetic waves can bring energy into a system by virtue of their electric and magnetic fields. These fields can exert forces and move charges in the system and, thus, do work on them.



Yes i also think that the electromagnetic wave exert force on a proton or an electron.
