can anyone give me reason why sucrose is non reducing whereas maltose and lactose are reducing

As in sucrose - aldehydic carbon of glucose and ketonic carbon of fructose are bounded to each other and forms glycosidic bond . Hence non reducing .whereas in maltose one of the aldehydic carbon is free . Same with lactose .
