  1. Aspirin, also known as acetylsalicylic acid, is a medication used to reduce pain, fever, or inflammation.
  2. Aspirin is commonly recommended as a rooting hormone for cuttings.
  3. But, there is no scientific evidence that it improves rooting.
  4. Hormones that stimulate the formation of new roots in cuttings are called rooting hormones.
  5. Examples- Indole Butyric Acid (IBA), Naphthalene Acetic Acid (NAA), Indole Acetic Acid (IAA), etc.
