Solution

Arteries

  1. The arteries are the blood vessels present in the human body that sends oxygen-rich blood from the heart to the tissues of the body.
  2. The pulmonary artery carries deoxygenated blood from the heart to the lungs for oxygenation.
  3. Arteries carry blood under a high pressure exerted by the pumping action of the heart.
  4. If the heart can't pump sufficient blood to meet your body's requirements, you may feel unusually weak and fatigued.
  5. Coronary artery disease is a situation in which the heart does not pump sufficient blood due to the collection of fats and cholesterol on the inner wall of the heart arteries. This is called atherosclerosis.
  6. Symptoms of atherosclerosis include fatigue, heart attack, shortness of breath, and chest pain.
