Blood types:

  1. In the ABO blood group classification, the presence of antigens A and B and the Rhesus factor is used to determine the type of blood group.
  2. The blood group are of 4 types- A, B, AB, and O.
  3. Certain drugs, suppression or addition of an antigen in infection, bone marrow transplants, malignancy or autoimmune disease can cause the blood type to change from B to O.
