Chromosomal disorders are genetic conditions that occur due to the change in the number or structure of chromosomes. This can be due to an alteration of the number of sex chromosomes or autosomes.
Some examples of chromosomal disorders are- Down's syndrome(trisomy of 21 chromosomes), Turner's syndrome (monosomy), etc.
Cure for chromosomal disorders:
In general, there is no treatment or cure for chromosomal disorders.
Medicines, physical therapy, genetic counselling, occupational therapy, and diagnostic tests can help in the prevention and management of the symptoms and conditions associated with chromosomal disorders.
