Can colour blindness be cured?

Solution

Colour blindness:

  1. Colour blindness is a genetic (recessive sex-linked trait) disorder.
  2. The main symptom of this disorder is that the eye fails to distinguish between red, green and blue colours.
  3. It is hereditary and can be seen mostly in males because of sex-linked recessive characteristics.
  4. There is no proper cure for colour blindness. Even no medical treatments are there for this disease.
  5. Adaptation to the disorder is the only thing that is left with colour-blind people. But spectacles and contact lenses can be used sometimes.
