Can convex polygons also be called irregular polygons? Justify.

Open in App
Solution

Dear Student,
A convex polygon is one which has all interior angles less than 180oā€‹. Irregular polygons are those which do not have equal angles or equal sides, while regular polygons have equal angles or sides, and are by definition, convex. So, convex polygons may be regular, or irregular. Thus, convex polygons cannot be called irregular polygons.
