Pollination by wind:
In some flowers, the dry and light pollen grains are carried by winds and such flowers are called wind-pollinated flowers.
They have feathery structures in the stigma which helps the pollen grains carried by wind to attach to the surface of the stigma.
In the absence of wind, such flowers may not be able to pollinate.
The flowers pollinated by water, insects and animals can pollinate in the absence of wind, proving that all flowers do not specifically need the presence of wind to pollinate.
