Can fossil fuel be prepared in the laboratory? Justify your answer.

The fossil fuels are coal, petroleum and natural gas. They are made up of plant and animal matter. They can't be made in laboratory as it takes millions of years for these fuels to form gradually from buried and decaying organic material. Also, fossil fuels need high pressure and high temperature to form which cannot be produced in a laboratory.
