Seedling:

  2. Seed germination leads to the formation of a seedling.
  3. It is the first stage of development from seed to plant.
  4. Sunlight is one of the important factors that help in seed germination and plant growth.
  5. However, they are very sensitive and susceptible to extreme temperatures, light, and heat.
  6. Therefore, a seedling must be acclimatized properly before transferring into the open field or in direct sunlight.
  7. Hence, it can be said that direct sunlight can kill or destroy seedlings and it is advisable to avoid doing it.
