1. Microbes constitute the largest population of organisms present on Earth.
2. Microbes are organisms which are not visible by naked eyes.
3. Microbes can only be visualized under electron microscope as it is able to magnify objects by 300 times.
4. Existence of microbes is diverse and therefore can be found everywhere from hot springs to the coldest glaciers.
5. These are also found in the houses, food materials and in the living beings.
6. Some of them are infectious and cause disease while others are beneficial.
