Dear Student,
Parasitic nutrition is a type of nutrition in which an organism attains advantage and other organism attains disadvantage.
The organsim which attains advantage is known as parasite.
A parasite is defined as an organism that lives on or in an organism of another species, known as the host, from the body of which it obtain nutrients. Host does not get any advantage from the parasite and is usually harmed by its presence. Parasites are categorised as ectoparasites (that live on the body of the host) and endoparasites (that lives in the body of the host).
Parasites may infect plants and animals including humans.
