Question

Can somebody explain me this. If a body(for eg ball) is moving with constant velocity, and if i apply to opposite forces on it such that they are balanced forces, will the body stop moving, or will there be an increase or decrease in magnitude of velocity, or there will be no change at all. I am not able to visualise what will happen in such a case
