Can the process of rusting be called combustion ? Give reason for your answer.

No, the process of rusting cannot always been called as combustion. Because in rusting only oxygen get reacted with the material, but during combustion oxygen get react with material with proper ignition temperature so that the material itself act as fuel and starts burning.
If combustion takes place we can say that rusting also take place, but vice-versa cannot happen.
