Question

Can two or more magnetic field lines intersect at a point?

Open in App
Solution

  1. No, the magnetic field lines can never intersect each other.
  2. It is because, at the point of intersection, two tangents can be drawn which would mean two directions of the magnetic field at a point that is not possible.
