Can we draw a triangle ABC with AB = 3 cm ,
BC = 3.5 and CA = 6.5 cm ? why ?

Given,

$AB=3$ cm

$BC=3.5$ cm

$CA=6.5$ cm

According, to triangle inequality theorem the sum of length of any 2 sides of a triangle must be greater than third side.

But, here $3+3.5=6.5\Rightarrow AB+BC=CA$

$\therefore$ The triangle with given measurements cannot be formed.
