We can drink D₂O in small quantities. The chemical properties of hydrogena nd deuterium are slightly different, it will take a very large amout of D₂O to affect us adversely. If ingested for about a week it can lead to alterations in the chemical reactions as it forms slightly stronger hydrogen bonds and it also leads to disruption in division of cells.
T₂O on the other hand is slightly radioactive and should not eb ingested.
