Question

Can we find all angles of a quadrilateral if only one angle is given?

Open in App
Solution

For a quadrilateral total sum of four angles=360 degree
If one angle is given, then the other three angles can be many values so that sum is 360
like say x=40 degree, then x+y+z+w=360 where x,y,z and w are four angles of quadrilateral
y+z+w=360-x=360-40=320
Now y=320-z-w.
So we have to assume values for z and w to find y
Thus with only one angle given we cannot get any fixed values for the other three angles of a quadrilateral
