Question

Can I use any transistor?

Open in App
Solution

  1. All the transistor parameters must match the requirement only then can be used.
  2. Different transistor designs respond to a frequency in different ways. It's important to double-check the power and voltage ratings.
  3. For example, in the case of a bipolar junction transistor in the common-base circuit, the power gain is low but in the case of a common emitter, the power gain is high.
  4. Therefore, we can't use any transistor.
