Can you boil water by passing steam through it?

Water cannot be boiled by passing steam through it.

When steam is passed continuously in water, its temperature increases till ${100}^{o}C$ and when water reaches ${100}^{o}C$ heat transfer between steam and water stops and hence for boiling more heat is required after water reaches ${100}^{o}C$. But there's no heat transfer taking place. So water can't be boiled by passing steam through it.
