Question

Can you distinguish between concave and convex mirrors without touching them? How?

Open in App
Solution

If you look into a plane mirror you can find that the size of the image is the same as that of the object. If you look into a concave mirror, you can see an enlarged image when placed close and can see an inverted image when kept away.

A convex mirror always forms a small and erect image.
