Function of B-cells:
B-cells are part of adaptive humoral immunity, they produce antibodies.
Antibodies are antigen-specific immunoglobulin molecules.
They protect us from foreign molecules (pathogens).
Life without B-cells:
The adaptive humoral immunity will not work to protect our body without the availability of B-cells.
The immunodeficiency disorders will arise as a result of this.
Without B-cells, we will be vulnerable to invasive pathogens.
In such case, some pathogens may cause a fatal disease which will lead to death of an individual.
