Solution

Urine:

  1. Urine is a by-product of metabolism in humans and other animals.
  2. It is a deep yellow-coloured fluid that is produced in the kidney by filtration.
  3. Urine comprises of water, urea, creatinine, uric acid, and various salts like chloride, potassium, sodium, sulphate, phosphate, ammonium, etc. It does not consist of cells.
  4. Thus, DNA content in urine is smaller than with respect to blood.
  5. So, DNA can be pulled from urine but not as much.
