Organisms which are able to tolerate a wide range of temperature levels are known as eurythermal organisms. Eurythermal animals include goat, man, dog, tiger, cow, cat, sheep, monkey, green crab etc. while eurythermal plants include roses, jasmine, daisy, conifers, ashoka tree etc.
Organisms which can tolerate a narrow range of temperature levels and cannot survive in an environment where temperature varies greatly are known as stenothermal organisms. Stenothermal animals include a penguin, python, crocodile, crustaceans, insects etc. while stenothermal plants include Bougainvillea, Plumeria, Eucalyptus etc.
