In Cannizzaro reaction aldehydes which do not have α-hydrogen atom undergo self-oxidation and reduction (disproportion) reaction on heating with concentrated alkali.

Compound (i) and (iv) have αH, so they won't undergo Cannizzaro reaction.
Hence, option C is the correct answer.
