Car A and B move on straight and circular track with a constant speed of 40 $\frac{m}{s}$ and 20 $\frac{m}{s}$ , respectively. Which of the cars shows uniform speed? . Support your answer with suitable reasons.

Solution

On straight track,since magnitude of velocity is not changing,the car will have uniform speed.
In circular motion velocity changes due to change in the direction of vector but magnitude still remains constant.
So it will also have uniform speed
