1. Electric cell is the source of direct current(DC) because when we charge the cell electric charge is get transformed into chemical energy(charging) while discharging chemical energy gets transformed into electric energy.
2. When an electric cell is connected to a conductor by means of wires and turns on a switch, a potential difference is created between the conductors.
3. The flow of electrons from the negative terminal to the positive terminal and the electric current from the positive terminal to the negative terminal is called conventional current.
