Solution

Cell membrane is also known as plasma membrane. It is the outermost wall in the animal cell and placed next to cell wall in the plant cell. Cytoplasm lies between the cell membrane and nuclear membrane. It includes cytosol and cell organelles which are enclosed by the bilipid plasma membrane. Hence, it is the outermost envelope of cytoplasm.
