The correct option is D Glucose
A plant cell is surrounded by a well developed cellulosic cell wall. Cellulose is fibrous polysaccharide (glucosan homopolysaccharide) that forms the structural component (as microfibrils) of plant cell wall, some primitive fungi and tunic of Ascidians. Its molecules are a linear chain of roughly 6000 to 10000 β-pyranose glucose units linked through 1 -> 4 linkage. The molecular weight of cellulose is 0.5 to 2.5 million. Adjacent glucose molecules lie at 180o to each other. As glucose is a hexose sugar, the cellulose is called as hexosan polysaccharide.
