Homopolymers are the polymers which have same monomeric unit. Cellulose is a polysaccharide. It is formed by the linkage of beta 1,4 linkage of the glucose unit. It is a homopolysaccharide which is made up of the monomeric unit of glucose. It is an important component of the cell wall of the plant.
