Solution

$C H_{3} N O_{2}$ when treated with $S n / H C l$ gives $C H_{3} N H_{2}$ (methyl amine). When $C H_{3} N H_{2}$ is treated With $C H C l_{3}$ and alcoholic $K O H$ it gives methyl isocyanide $(C H_{3} N C)$ . When $C H_{3} N C$ treated with $H_{2} / P t$ it gives Dimethylamine $(C H_{3} N H C H_{3})$
A $\to$ (methyl amine)
B $\to C H_{3} N C$ (methyl isocyanide)
C $\to C H_{3} N H C H_{3}$ (Dimethylamine)
