After the decline of the Bahamani kingdom, the region of the Golkonda was ruled by the Qutub Shah dynasty. Quli Qutub Shah was the founder of this dynasty. He ruled the state with good administration and in 1543 CE, he was killed by his own son. Ibrahim was a ruler who had compassion for the Hindu religion. He had many Hindu officers in his administration. He changed his capital from Golkonda to Hyderabad.
