Definition of germ pore : a pore, pit, or thin area in the outer wall of a spore or pollen grain through which the germ tube or pollen tube makes its exit on germination

Germ pore is the place in pollen grains where the sporopollenin is absent. At this pore the pollen tube germinates. If this pore is absent pollen grains never be fertilised or fused with female gamete.
