Solution

The correct option is C E2>E1>E3
For sphere 1:
Point P is outside the sphere and using Gauss's law, E1.4πR2=Qenϵ0=Qϵ0
or E1=14πϵ0QR2

For sphere 2:
Point P is on the surface of the sphere and using Gauss's law, E2.4πR2=Qenϵ0=2Qϵ0
or E2=14πϵ02QR2

For sphere 3:
Point P is inside the sphere and using Gauss's law
E3.4πR2=Qenϵ0=ρ.43πR3ϵ0 and here 4Q=ρ.43π(2R)3
now, E3.4πR2=Q/2ϵ0
or E3=14πϵ0Q2R2
thus, E2>E1>E3
