To check if it is a magic square we have to find the sum of each row, column and diagonals and check if they are same or not.
Row wise
1+2+15+16=34
12+14+3+5=34
13+7+10+4=34
8+11+6+9=34
Now column wise
1+12+13+8=34
2+14+7+11=34
15+3+10+6=34
16+5+4+9=34
Now diagonals
1+14+10+9=34
16+3+7+8=34

All have 34 as a sum , therefore it is a magic square.
