Let $x_1=10,x_2=30,x_3=60,x_4=10$

$y_1=90,y_2=30,y_3=20,y_4=90$

Finding the product of 𝑥 𝑎𝑛𝑑 𝑦 in each case:
(1) $x_1{y}_1=10\times 90=900$
(2)$x_2{y}_2=30\times 30=900$
(3)$x_3{y}_3=60\times 20=1200$
(4) $x_4{y}_4=10\times 90=900$

Here,$xy$ are not equal for all the cases.
Therefore, $x\text{and}y$ does not vary inversely.
