Chemical fertilisers increase crop productivity. But they have some side effects also,
Fertilisers contaminate the soil with impurities, which come from raw materials used for their manufacture. The use of chemical fertilisers will result in the following:
  • Harm the microbes present in the soil
  • Change the nature of the soil, making it either too acidic or too alkaline etc.
