Silicon dioxide
Nitric Acid
Methane
Barium Chloride
Potassium Permanganate
Explain with the steps of writing Chemical Formula.

Dear student

1. Sodium bicarbonate
Na is Na+ and bicarbonate ion is HCO3-
When they exchange valencies, we get , NaHCO3

2.Nitrite ion is NO2-

3.Silicon dioxide has the formula SiO2.

4.Nitric acid has the formula HNO3

5.Methane has the formula, CH4

6.Barium chloride
Ba exists as Ba2+ ion and Chloride is Cl-
So when they exchange charges the compound becomes BaCl2

7.Potassium permanganate
Potassium ion is K+ and Manganate ion is MnO4-
The formula after exchange of charges becomes KMnO4
