Children went for a programme on adventure sports ,where they were asked to carry ropes for rock climbing. One child took a rope made of coir and the other child took nylon ropes. Which will be better for rock climbing and why?

Nylon ropes will be better for rock climbing as they are elastic and strong. It can stretch upto 40%. It is light but also tough and can withstand heavy weight during climbing better than a coir rope.
